About Me

I always felt like a writer, I always loved words. I didn’t know what to do with them or how to use them. Then my wife died. In the aftermath, there were too many thoughts, ideas and words inside me. They needed to be outside so I could survive. They live inside my book ‘How To Lose Your Wife’.

When asked why I became a writer, I always confidently say: "This is fate."

I really composed stories from childhood, at first I bumped them under my nose, drawing characters in albums (once I was caught by a nanny for this, and I laughed terribly), then writing in notebooks. The second reason is books! I lived in them.
It was happiness – to choose books in the library and dive into them with my head, nobody led my reading, it was haphazard, but constantly. And my mother read out loud for the night, even as a teenager! This is how it all developed gradually, and continues to take shape until now.

"I have of late – but wherefore I know not – lost all my mirth, forgone all custom of exercises. And indeed it goes so heavily with my disposition that this goodly frame the earth seems to me a sterile promontory."
Billy Shakespeare
“The world is a book. And who did not travel through it - read only one page in it.”
